Refractories

Refractory materials must retain their strength and structural integrity at high temperatures. Depending on the application, these materials must withstand thermal shock, remain chemically inert, and exhibit low thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. They are commonly used to manufacture crucibles and linings for furnaces and incinerators.
